Zhencheng Sam Cui is a Master of Architecture student in University of Michigan and will be graduating in May 2016. He Holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China.
Currently, he is looking for a creative design studio to start his professional career.
He worked at VolumeOne Design Studio in Detroit in the summer 2015, OLI Architecture in Shanghai in the spring 2014 and Wuyang Architecture in Shanghai in the summer 2013.

•Involved in four projects doing schematic design, determining building volumes and facades using SketchUp, Rhino and Vectorworks.
•Responsible for some rendering coordinate with 3rd party company, and producing preliminary construction drawing for Chinese cooperative partner.
OLI Architecture PLLC (Shanghai), Shanghai, CN, Architectural Intern
•Involved in schematic sketch, plan drawing, 3D model making and booklet composing in three projects. Increased proficiency with Rhino, Grasshopper and InDesign.
•Responsible for schematic design of Taohuawu Woodcutting Prints Museum, which received positive feedback from the government, allowing project to go forward.
Wuyang Architecture, Shanghai, CN, Architectural Intern
•Worked consistently with Anting Bus Station during the entire schematic design phase.
•Participated in site survey, volume study, facade study, digital and physical model making and booklet design.
•Involved in a temporary bamboo pavilion design, in which I helped define the form with Grasshopper and designed the construction details. It was successfully built.
