About

As a forward-thinking designer, I integrate technology with architecture, focusing on the potential of post-human intelligence to transform design methodologies. I am particularly fascinated by the role of synthetic intelligence and HCI in expanding the interface between digital and physical realms. For me, architecture is a domain where technological innovation fosters aesthetic elegance. My expertise includes creating dynamic 2D and 3D design communications, gamification of participatory design methods, and leveraging parametric design computation research that aims for a smarter, more user-centric future.

Committed to environmental sustainability in human-built environments, I bring a decade of climate justice activism and advocacy for accessible public spaces to the table. I aim to apply my technical acumen and innovative mindset to address challenges in spatial design and complex environmental solutions.

Archihacks Monthly Challenge (August 2020), 1st Place

COVID-19 has uprooted almost every aspect of our lives in the first half of 2020. Our collective efforts are beginning to adapt to this new reality of the post-pandemic economy.

Archihacs as an online platform wanted to explore the possibilities of the evolution of work in this scenario.

My submission workspace 2070, (from the Instagram handle @long_circuit) won honorable mention in this monthly challenge.

UNI-Nano Nest (Shortlisted), Nomination

With the growing population, the land is constantly seen as a depleting resource and thus has increased real estate prices. Today, the definition of a house has barely boiled down to it being a commodity that constitutes a kitchen, a living area, bedroom and bathroom. This commodity offered is sometimes so inhabitable that it even lacks the basic notion of light and ventilation. Eventually, all the other additional notions of what a house should offer then become secondary. How do we then redefine a modern living space for a space crunch situation that it is not just habitable, but also restores these essential notions that make it a house?
Design a ‘Living Space’ for a family of 6 (people from 3 generations to be considered). The participants must give a character sketch of the users/family chosen. Based on this, propose a modern way of living in a space crunch scenario for them.
I with my teammate Eftey Islam became "top shortlisted" for the project

2020

Open Architectural Design Competition "Affordable Housing For Lower Middle Income Group" at Dhalpur, Savar, Honorable Mention

The aim of this competition is to design modern, affordable homes for the target middle income group who are workers in the nearby industries. The design should have a sensitivity to the local culture and suburban setting. It should provide a sustainable solution that enhances the local architectural tradition, in which locally sourced renewable resources are used to provide natural temperature and humidity regulation. There are increased opportunity to integrate new technological innovations into the design. Construction cost per standard unit house should be capped at 1500tk/sft, to maintain affordability and allow for future ownership.

As a team member of Team SAA, I won an honorable mention for our entry titled "তিন মহল্লা, তিন পাড়া"
