I'm an architect, designer and urban planner with solid professional background and international work experience on various projects in architectural firms, local governments, NGOs and academia.

Currently, I'm collaborating with architects in Paris to work on projects mostly in France.

Design architect: Single and multi-family housing, commercial projects. Coordinated design work with local architecture firms.

« Métropole Européenne de Lille » (European Metropolis of Lille), Lille, France, Urban development project manager

Managed new neighborhood development projects at the urban management directorate of Lille Metropolis, providing technical assistance and coordination in areas such as land procurement, development regulations, and environmental constraints. Working in close collaboration with different directorates of the Metropolis, and with urban management agencies and external consultants.

NGO « Vers la Ville Verte » (Towards the Green City), Paris, France, Green-roof project co-designer and manager

Designed greenhouse and provided strategies for reintroducing urban agriculture in the city of Paris by reclaiming unused urban spaces, while facilitating the use of renewable energies and water recycling. Established networks to develop the project through non-profits, local municipalities and communities, and in partnership with private companies.

University of Paris Dauphine / SCET (consulting agency for urban development), Paris, France, Research affiliate and survey conductor

Drafted analytical papers about sustainable development topics. Carried out research and edited a paper about case studies of citizen participation in planning sustainable neighborhoods in France through a survey about this topic that I managed for the SCET. Analyzed research data and interviewed city officials, planners, architects and neighborhood associations to identify best practices in inclusive planning.

El Kef Foundation For Regional Development, Tunis, Tunisia, Sustainable village project coordinator

Prepared a field report, coordinated an academic field trip, and guided a visiting student group for a rural community development project in collaboration with “Basic Initiative” (University of Oregon), University of Barcelona (Spain) and APPEL Association (Tunisia). Participated in presenting the project to local authorities.
