Hi, my name is Zarina, I am in my senior year majoring in Architecture with a minor in Real Estate at the University of San Diego. I am the President of the AIAS Chapter at USD.
My design interests are broad and diverse, encompassing architecture, interior design, and furniture design. I have a specialized focus on residential, hospitality, and office design, reflecting on my commitment to creating spaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I enjoy taking walks, meeting new people, and playing tennis. I love exploring new coffee spots and hanging out with friends, always eager to discover new places and experiences.
Process and Design Studio, San Diego, CA, US, Design Intern
Working on the process of designing and building an ADU. Schematic design , design development, construction documents, and rendering. Drafted floor and roof plans, elevations, sections, site plans, and all other elements in the architectural project. Assisted in digital drawings of past projects such as renders, axonometric, perspective, and 2D drawings.

California College Corps Fellowship Program, San Diego, CA, US, Fellow / Intern
Joined the College Corps Fellowship Program in the state of California for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years. Completing 450 hours of service for the University of San Diego and for the San Diego Foundation each year. Assisted initiation on the BRI (Binational Resilience Initiative) in the San Diego / Tijuana coastal region and started working in The Housing Impact Fund.
