For this consultation project, the client sought a redesign of her Upper East Side apartment.  She asked that the design incorporate a few of her existing furnishings and accessories having both financial and sentimental attachments to many of her things.  It was determined that the client's style was transitional (leaning more on the traditional side) mixed with a bit of glam.  In the final design, one of her existing pieces--an olive green arm chair--acts as a focal point for the room while introducing color to the mostly neutral design.
