About

Yu-Hsuan’s strong interest in the vibrant neighborhood can be traced back to her undergraduate final thesis, in which she integrated the existing light manufacturing to create new residential possibilities. This passion for mixed urban environment brought her to New York where she attended Master program at Columbia University and continue to develop her skill in urban design strategy. Before joined PKSB in 2015, Yu-Hsuan worked as a junior urban designer at Replace Urban Studio where she combined her enthusiasm for dynamic cityscape and logical zoning regulation for several regional studies and analysis, including Obama Presidential Library Proposal at Columbia University and Streetscape guideline for Taopu District, Shanghai.

Her immense curiosity about changes in neighborhoods works seamlessly with the projects she participates at PKSB. Projects include residential projects in Greenpoint Brooklyn, NOHO and commercial projects in Manhattan.

Yu-Hsuan graduated with an Honor Award on her final thesis from National Cheng Kung University in 2012. In 2014 she received William Kinne Fellowship along with her Master Degree in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University.
