I am a recent graduate from Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree looking for a full-time employment as an entry level architectural designer. I have interest in figuring out different types of detail and material. Working on details and understanding how different materials go together gets me excited. Each space requires a unique atmosphere and exploring details and materials can give a space a completely different atmosphere.
I enjoy working with my hands through sketching, modelling, and prototyping. I also have developed proficient level skills on many software, including Rhino 3D, Adobe Creative Suite, and AutoCAD. I enjoy using different software and learning more about them to become more efficient. Designing through different medium and making it come to reality is something that excites me.
Carnegie Mellon University Urban Design Build Studio, Pittsburgh, Internship
We are currently working on a exterior wall development project that uses re-purposed high performance concrete panels. We are working on producing renderings, construction documents, building prototypes, and figuring out logistics for the project.
We are also working on a bike project that will be used as a tool to go around Pittsburgh to collect oral history from neighborhoods. We will be asking questions related to "home" and the information we collect will help design a housing project that the studio is working on in East Liberty. The bike project also has a VR/AR component to it that will allow people to interact with and understand the current design of the housing project.
