Competition held in South China, in the town called “The Venice China ”. A place of great extension
surrounded by lakes full of plants and animals unique to their species.

One of the biggest promoters Chinas decided to perform a spa-hotel to enjoy the unique landscape.
We decided to use as a concept the aquatic plants on the river bank, lily pods.

We integrate this concept with the traditional architecture of the place, courtyards. Thus we
respect nature and culture. The space is square and open courtyards.

The water plant, lily pods, are circular in plan. Overlaying these geometries the result is a circular
courtyard floor.

From that idea came out different types of buildings but with the same concept and pattern,
circular.
