I am Yarzar Hlaing, a multidisciplinary designer, 22, from Yangon, Myanmar, currently studying undergraduate Architecture at Pratt Institute. I treasure the notion of eccentricity that alters how we perceive the world through space and form making. My aspiration comes from uncovering the spatial performances of irregular geometries and proportions in architecture. In doing so, the ambitions should also align with reality and provide answers to the complex issues for the future. Whether designing a small furniture or a city masterplan, my focus is always to materialize the unreal as well as to provide alternative design solutions in our ordinary world. My intentions revolves around finding new opportunities to reshape the ways people occupy spaces as well as to advocate human well-being through architecture.
