Hello!
I'm Xinru Tan, an architectural designer based in New York City.
I hold a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Temple University.
During my time at the University of Pennsylvania, I served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the required ARCH 5320 BIM & Construction Technology course, under the mentorship of Professor Franca Trubiano.
I have developed my skills at respected design firms such as JKRP Architects, CANNO design, and Way Architects, and currently, I am part of the team at wHY Architects.
My portfolio includes a diverse range of projects such as private residences, multi-residential developments, commercial retail spaces, cultural and museum venues, and science centers across the United States, China, the Philippines, and Saudi Arabia.
My strong educational background and varied professional experience, combined with my dedication to innovative design, make me a forward-thinking designer committed to crafting inspiring spaces that elevate the human experience and the built environment.
I am currently pursuing licensure as an architect in New York.
