The scheme is a cruise terminal building on water, located in Lago di Lugano, Riva San Vitale, Switzerland. As the most used facility at a passenger transportation terminal, the waiting room, where departing and arriving travelers gather, is always crowded and noisy. 

The concrete building, without ornament and illuminated through clerestory windows, is comprised of 20 cuboid repeating units, each of which accommodates up tp 10 passengers. The terminal building allows passengers to enjoy the tranquility of the lake, while waiting for the cruise.
