Born in Mexico and later immigrating to the United
States, the ensuing future events of this transition has
spurred an ongoing curiosity for cultures, places and
people different from myself. As a result, I developed
a life-long love for exploration and a strong sense of
curiosity for the world around me. I approach architecture
and design with the same passion. Design for
me is not only about aesthetics, but a union of social,
cultural and traditional elements. Through my studies,
research, practice and natural exploration, I hope to
better understand design and its potential application
to change the way we see and interact with our world.
