After graduating from SCI-Arc (Southern California Institute of Architecture) in September 2015, I moved to New York to start my very first job in the Architecture field at Spector Group.
I believe that the skills and experience I have gained at this position, coupled with my academic knowledge, make me an ideal candidate for a Junior Architect position at your company.
My academic experience at SCI-Arc was an architectural adventure for me. Learning to reflect on the cutting edge and the futurism of buildings gave me a strong base to design.
My experience at Spector Group started with 3D modeling and rendering, which also included animation walkthroughs and design development presentations, but it quickly expanded to space layout and Construction Documents development for corporate interior projects. Being involved in different types of renovations has pushed me to start focusing on the smaller scales of buildings and opened my eyes to the professional field.
Besides my software knowledge of AutoCad, Adobe programs, Rhino, Revit……….. I also consider myself to be responsible and efficient. I had the opportunity to work closely with the Lead Designers at Spector Group and the simultaneous deadlines we had to meet were a challenge which showed me the true meaning of “team work”. This experiences only make more eager about Architecture.
