I graduated with a Masters degree in Architecture from the Savannah College of Art and Design in August of 2012. At SCAD, I completed a graduate thesis, urban design studio and electives in furniture design, metalworking, printmaking and animation. My graduate thesis, titled “Active Ruin: Adaptive Continuous Use in Detroit” involved exploring identity and flexibility within architecture, and the effect which these properties have on the longevity and use of structures.
Prior to attending SCAD, I worked at MacPherson Architects/2MA in Toledo for 9 months as an intern and then FF&E Specialist. This position involved working with clients and sales representatives to assemble affordable furniture selections for a Toledo area private school.
I graduated from Miami University of Ohio in 2009 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Architecture. While pursuing my undergraduate degree, I completed architectural studios abroad in London and Florence, Italy. I am native to and currently reside in Toledo, Ohio.
