I am an M.S. Advanced Architectural Design student at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation. I hold a B.Arch degree from Oklahoma State University, a minor in Sustainable Design, and a Graduate Certificate in Integrated Design of the Building Envelope. Architecture is the relationship between the natural environment, non-human actors, and humans. It is the realization of each of these things in a physically built environment. It has the unique ability to influence change throughout its community, region, or world. Specifically, my research relies on architecture's sociological and psychological effects on humans. I embrace these challenges throughout my design process as I seek to identify the identity, culture, environment, form, materials, and program of each of my designs to inspire a future of architecture that responds to the intrinsic connection of all.
