ARMATURE (Terry Thomas Transcended) was awarded an Honorable Mention in the 2019 eVolo Magazine Skyscraper Competition. This project was conceptualized during the Terry Thomas 10th anniversary celebration and was the result of a collaborative effort within the office.
The jury selected 3 winners and 27 honorable mentions from 478 projects received worldwide. The annual award established in 2006 recognizes visionary ideas that through the novel use of technology, materials, programs, aesthetics, and spatial organizations, challenge the way we understand vertical architecture and its relationship with the natural and built environments.
The submission’s narrative looks ahead 30 years and tells the story of how ARMATURE has had a positive lasting impact on our beloved, transformed city.
