I am a graduate student from Pratt Institute, New York and finished the master degree of architecture in May, 2019. I believe my architectural belief and academic experience make me an ideal candidate for a Junior Architect.

I have learned architecture for seven years since I graduated from high school. During the whole process of study, I found my own uniqueness in architecture. I truly like building interdisciplinary research between architecture and other fields. All of the projects I have done in my portfolio are based on research in different disciplines including education, drama, botany and society. Therefore, I am looking forward to having the opportunity with inclusive workforce and multidisciplinary project opportunities.

During the summer in 2018, I worked as an architecture intern at Gensler’s Los Angeles office. I followed three projects at different phases and was involved in physical model making, interior rendering, material selection, schedule and design award documentation. I found that design is a process of gaining goal and solving problem. We define the problem and the goal at the beginning from research and client communication. Also, I learned that the collaborative skill and interpersonal skill are as important as design skills. Different opinions create new thoughts and ideas as we communicate and collaborate with our team members.

I am confident that my professional experience, academic and interpersonal skills have prepared me well to be a professional Junior Architect. I am looking forward to joining a collaborative and creative family as an enthusiastic team player.
