This Master Thesis is the result of Joint Studio 2016, an academic partnership between the Polytechnic University of Turin and  Tsinghua University of Beijing which started in 2008.
This Joint Studio is an experience of cultural exchange, whose main purpose is to allow Italian and Chinese students to work together on tasks regarding urban transformation. 
The main theme is related to the Winter Games, and the objective is to analyse the current situation of  Turin Olympic venues  ten years after the event. In particular the Thesis focuses on the transformation of the former Olympic Village into a scientific research centre according to an agreement between the Polytechnic and the University of Turin.
