The industrial development not only provides jobs for local people but also attracts work force from many other provinces. For recent years, the number of workers has increased rapidly according to the expanding speed of the existing industrial parks as well as new established ones.On the contrary the income of a blue-collar worker in an industrial park, which include both salary and bonus, averagely about 800,000VND to 1,000,000VND a month. With this low amount of income, only local workers can afford their basic living standards, immigrant workers have to struggle with more basic expenses such as rent, water and electricity bills, travel and not include entertainment and education.As a result, in order to limit living expenses immigrant workers have to search for accommodations which stay as close to their industrial parks as possible so that they can save time and money for travelling to their working places, and also to find room mates who have the same needs that can minimise the rents. However, most of the existing accommodations are privately and individually operated. They are badly built, stuffy, and dirty and most of all they are designed to gain profit for people who invested in them, not for people who live in them.Those places would never be able to help workers to regain their energy after a long and hard working day.
