I believe that the main benefit of architectural education is the development of design thinking that does not limit itself to a particular discipline. That mindset made me look beyond the narrow field of architecture and search for the new ways to apply my design ability. Thus, apart from architectural design I have also focused on graphic design, set design, product design, event and festival planning and other. My deep interest in urban studies and relations between the city and architecture gave me the momentum to pursue an Urban Design degree as the next step in my professional development. My thesis project in Urban Design was focused on finding and creating “spaces of otherness” or (as Foucault puts it) Heterotopias at different scales and conditions.
