UPSCALE studio recently opened a branch office in Bonita Springs and Wynwood Miami, expanding its award-winning corporate architectural expertise to South Florida.

“This expansion is a homecoming for us because we’ve had a hand in the creation and design of many projects ranging from corporate and mixed-use buildings to some of the City’s finest parks,” says Fabian Behague, principal of UPSCALE studio and a native of Belgium who moved to Miami in 2004.

Behague played a leading role in the design of noteworthy projects such as the Florida International University Graduate School of Business and PLC Lincoln Road in Miami Beach, a mixed-use landmark that includes shops, apartments, and parking garage. He collaborated on these landmarks with Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates and TEN Arquitectos, respectively.

Fabian Behague formed UPSCALE studio in 2013 in Fort Myers and the company now handles projects throughout South Florida and Georgia. UPSCALE studio provides a full suite of building-design services including master planning, brand development, architecture, historic preservation and project feasibility.

Scott Chadwick joined UPSCALE studio early 2019. Upon completion of undergraduate studies at SCI-Arc in Los Angeles, Chadwick gained knowledge and experience through motion picture production design and fabrication. After relocating to the East Coast, his focus turned to residential design and construction where he developed multiple projects from NYC to Miami, FL. Chadwick now pays close attention to everything UPSCALE studio does to attract new business and oversee existing clients. His progressive approach to marketing and business development enables the firm to allocate resources to support activities that serve the growth of the firm.

UPSCALE studio has built a solid reputation in South Florida, designing landmark buildings for corporate clients such as women’s apparel retailer Chico’s FAS, technology research firm Gartner, cancer laboratory Neogenomics, Safran Oil, Florida Cancer Specialists, Freightliner and assisted living facility Shell Point.
