My current position as an Interior Designer at Modern Line Furniture has provided me with valuable experience, working with clients and firms to get proposals completed, including space planning, sketches, 3D renderings, AutoCAD drafting, detail construction documents, and project budgeting.  In addition, my responsibilities expand further as Head Furniture Designer for their luxury hospitality division, Borghese Couture Hospitality at which I oversee all aspect of new furniture ideas, designs, and production.  My daily engagements and collaborations with both internal and external peers/clients have taught me to work effectively, self sufficient to meet tight deadlines. Furthermore, I have gained extensive knowledge on furniture designing and production. 

In addition, while under taking my Bachelor’s  Degree  in  Science   for  Interior  Design at Mount Ida College, a profound CIDA- accredited Interior Design program in New England, my studies prepared  me for skills in research, design strategy and a high capacity for aesthetic resolution all of which have been further developed and enhanced while working at my current position.  Furthermore, I have gained the drive, motivation and a passion for innovative design solutions and ideas.

My attached resume will further highlight in detail my work experience, technical skills such as AutoCAD 2012, Sketch-Up (3D), Podium, Revit 2010, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Suite.  Additionally, I am able to utilize hand drafting along with hand-renderings and perspectives in a variety of mediums as further enhancement of design methods.  I am an individual that thrives in a fast-paced and demanding environment.  I’ve possessed strong organizational and communication skills that proved quite effective in working independently or in a team environment.  With these various forms of experience, I would appreciate the opportunity to advance my knowledge in the presence of seasoned professionals while functioning as a productive member of your company.

The accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA), the interior design degree program featured small classes. I received a lot of face-to-face interaction with classmates and with seasoned faculty who have years of industry experience.
