Shelly-Anne has over fifteen years experience in Architecture and Interior Design. Her experience thus far in Architecture has been in Libraries, Healthcare, Federal, Recreational, Retail & Mixed Use projects. Shelly-Anne has experience in the management, execution and production of conceptual design and production documents and her background in Interiors, problem solving and space planning lends itself to all her projects. She is also very enthused about public interest design, community development and sustainable design.
Over the past 4 years she has worked on several public and academic libraries in the southeastern region. She has also successfully built client relationships and done community engagement adding to the success of the projects. As an Enterprise Rose Architectural Fellow she worked with a non-profit housing developer and operator of senior housing in the North Eastern market. The goal was to help build their in-house design capacity and build her own knowledge of housing using the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) process and Continuing Care Retirement Communities.
She is driven by her passion for design and motivated by her love for community engagement and life. One of her main passions is community development encompasses the design of both civic buildings and housing. Her main goal is to help bring the benefits of architecture and design to the people who need it most and help foster strategic partnerships with other entities and providers of services which help sustain and enhance community life.
