My focus was on the design and construction portion of architecture. I spent the fall semester in 2010 studying architecture in Copenhagen, Denmark focusing on Scandinavian designs in architecture and furniture. For my final year I participated in the professional option, Studio 804, a design/build program affiliated with the University of Kansas. During that year, we designed and built two classrooms and lounge for a local community college, Johnson County Community College. The building was completed in July 2012.
