Participation in project design. Manpower allocation and project scheduling. Served as senior technical architect and “go to” person for 6 junior architects and their projects. Redlining on a regular basis and for all major projects in the office. Attended weekly associates meetings to go over and distribute work load. Participated in hiring process, performing interviews.

Responsible for development of complex facade solutions and details; including Curtain Wall facades. Presentations to client and contractor. Coordination with manufacturers and consultants (structural, MEP, acoustical, code, wind testing, facade testing). Supervising construction documents and a team of up to six architects. Responsible for development of complex facade solutions and details; developed 12 different facade sections. Presentations to client and contractor. Coordination with manufacturers and consultants (structural, MEP, acoustical, code). Producing and overseeing construction documents and a team of two architects. Participating in design coordination with lead architect COOK+FOX. Performing regular redlining. Coordinating bid process. Manpower allocation and project scheduling.

Shared responsibility for client contact, presentations to various groups on the client side (donor, deans of the business and music school, faculty, staff, library staff, catering service of cafeteria, university facility management and university board), Building and Fire Department, DOT, City Planning Commission and contractor. Consultant coordination (structural, MEP, acoustical, lighting, landscaping, code, green roof, theatrical lighting, concert hall, elevator), lead a team of three to twelve architects (in the last phase of CD) from Programming through the end of CD. Participation in project design. Leading three major VE efforts. Manpower allocation and project scheduling. Performed redlining on a regular basis. Issued monthly project reports with design, budget and schedule updates.

My thesis contributed to developing an integrated concept for the revitalization of an medical neighborhood in Erfurt, Germany. My architectural proposals were the result of a collaboration between a preservation specialist, a city planner a sociologist and myself representing the field of architecture.
