Awarded "Best in Show" at NY Now, the flask was designed through various experiments in hydro-forming steel in which The Principals prototyped a series of different shapes and sizes to determine optimal expansion. Each unit was made from flat sheets of mirror polished stainless steel and welded at the edges. The form was originally created through water pressure; when the unit is hooked up to a sink with a garden hose, the water pressure expands the steel like a mylar balloon. After 6 months of research and development a finalized shape was presented to the client and chosen for large scale production, available for purchase HERE.
