Who are we

The Collective is a property company with a new perspective. We are a young team with a start-up mentality and a deeply creative approach to the work we do. This gives us the freedom to think differently, and helps us really understand the lives of the young people our communities are made for.

What we do

We create better places for people to live, work and play. We design and build homes and workspaces designed to be the perfect platforms for life in the city. Once we have built them, we stay involved, building real communities and growing alongside our members.

How it started

The Collective was born in 2010, in the library of LSE University, when our CEO Reza Merchant set out to solve a problem he experienced first hand; the lack of quality accommodation available to young people in London.

Since then we have learnt a lot about how young people live, and the role that the places around them can play in their lives. We have grown up since our founding days, and our ambitions have grown with us, but our objective of making life better for our generation remains the same.
