Architecture came to me as a natural path following my genuine interest in arts. Following an intense yet beautiful two-year preparation journey, I ranked 11th out of 875 candidates in my admission exam at the University of Architecture and Urbanism “Ion Mincu” in Bucharest. In 2012, after an Erasmus scholarship, I continued my studies and graduated from the Superior Technical School of Architecture of Madrid, a renowned worldwide architecture university.

During my studies, I worked for over one year as an intern, both in Romania, at Westfourth Architecture (2011, 2015) and Epstein Global (2014, 2015, 2016), and in Spain at Maintenance Iberica (2016). These experiences helped me sharpen my skills and take part in the different approaches and phases of the design process. I am currently focused on deepening my knowledge on sustainable architecture and new construction technologies, so I am working as a Project Specialist at Romania Green Building Council, where I am also preparing for the LEED AP BD+C exam, while following the Green Building Professional Certification & Training Program.

As a young Romanian architect, educated in Spain, working in the US would be an extraordinary professional experience. I believe the ambient you work in has a huge impact on professional development. I also believe that architecture thrives on the diversity of ideas. Through an internship in the States, I would have the opportunity to learn a new approach to architecture design, but also bring a novel perspective given my background. I am excited to continue learning, to perfect and alter my architectural beliefs and concepts and, more importantly, to put my skills into practice by being part of a brilliant and competitive design team such as yours, provided the opportunity.
