About

I got my Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Shiraz University, Iran in 2009. Then I entered the graduate program in Sustainable Architecture of Multi Scale Projects at Politecnico Di Milano, Italy. I obtained a Master’s degree in December 2012 from the Politecnico Di Milano. I then attended the Design-101 on-line course at Iversity in 2013. During my graduate studies, I learned how to live abroad and how to integrate in different cultural communities.  I had the privilege of interacting with students from various countries, which gave me a deeper appreciation for diverse social communities. After reinforcing my theoretical and historical foundations in architecture, I was eager to use my skills and experiences in the professional world of architecture.

I started working as a Junior Architect in Valley Home Design eight months ago, which has been a valuable experience for me. I learned about the building process in residential area in Southern California and I got familiar with LADBS process. My other work experiences before Valley Home Design were in Iran, before I started my graduate studies. I worked as a Co-Designer in a private company. I participated in projects of various scales, from an urban renewal project to interior design projects and furniture detailing. My attention to detail and ability to spot and solve problems enable me to ensure that every project I work on is done to the highest possible standards.

I am expert in software programs like AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Google Sketch Up, Revit and etc. I also have excellent communication skills that help me to present my ideas fluently and with coherence and confidence. I enjoy working as part of a team, which brings a better professional out of me. I am competitive, but as a member of a team, I put the interest of the team above all.
