Originally an industrial warehouse, this building was repurposed to become a midway point towards owning their own home for people facing homelessness. This 32-room housing complex provides a respite and privacy for the end user. Different colors throughout the room signify the different wings of the building, to create smaller units and therefore familiarity. Amenities include a break room and area for people to congregate and eat their meals together. This area is close to the offices of city employees who focus on helping people facing homelessness reach their goal of safety and security. Extra care was paid to the type of material used, as well as engaging light design pieces.
