I am an aspiring architect who strongly connects with the mission of enhancing the quality of life for all New Yorkers by making our city more aesthetically pleasing and functional. Over the past two years, I had been as an architect intern at MBI Companies, Inc. in Knoxville, Tennessee, where I honed my skills in design development drawings and architectural presentations using software such as Revit, Lumion, CorelDraw and Photoshop. The opportunity not only helped me to gain Technical knowledge but also help me develop project management and leadership skills. I worked concurrently with multiple project managers which helped me to develop strong communication skills and the ability to explain and discuss matters effortlessly in clear, simple terms.
Prior to that I attained a B.Arch from BRAC University and a M.Arch from Jadavpur University. I have worked on a wide variety of projects ranging from housing projects in flood prone regions of Bangaldesh to large scale redevelopment projects in Dhaka and the public transportation system in Kolkata.

Indian National Council For Cultural Relation (ICCR), Scholarship
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) was founded in 1950 by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, independent India’s first Education Minister. Its objectives are to actively participate in the formulation and implementation of policies and programmes pertaining to India’s external cultural relations, to foster and strengthen cultural relations and mutual understanding between India and other countries, to promote cultural exchanges with other countries and people, and to develop relations with nations.
