The theme of this project aims at developing an mixeduse urban complex. Program includes retail, commercial center, hotel, high-rise residential tower, underground subway transit center as well as certain numbers of public plaza.
Based on the study of urban complex and the needs around the site, the concept of ‘Shan-Shui’ City was selected, which make the design focus on the exploration of the relationship among ‘mountains, valley and caves’.
While considering the harmonious operation between circulation situation and the building itself, this project also provides an opportunity to rethink the value of applying ecological principles and landscape design into architecture throughout entire design process, in order to increse the spatial flexibility.
