Beijing Feng Tai
A New Vision for Urban Life
They were in fact asked to look at
Beijing Feng Tai District's future financial center, an area of 16 square kilometers,
and suggest ways in which it could be more than the sum of its parts.
----------
The result is a radical new proposal for a city center
which works within existing urban parameters
but creates a new type of living and
working environment.

Where's the context?
A pile of dung.
We do accept any critic, if reasonable. Yours isnt.
I'm actually fond of the proposal as makes quite a strong gesture to "open up the city," while taking a stance towards the proposed architecture. Similar proposals by a certain top American firm, do nothing to address the challenge of creating place. I guess I answered my own question about context, the Fengtai District is quite suburban.
