Studio Maqam is a research and design practice that engages critically and creatively at the intersection of architecture and urban design in Hyderabad. The studio’s work focuses on the analysis and design of the social and cultural setting of building environments as well as research on the urban qualities of contemporary city.

We undertake commissioned projects in interior design, architecture and urban design. We provide consultancy services and research in development planning. We also undertake self initiated projects that allows us to experiment and engage with other disciplines.
