Extension to an Islamic center in Quincy, Massachusetts USA. It incorporates a new prayer space with supporting facilities. The new volume floats above an existing parking lot with a balcony connecting to existing building.  The facades are closed to enhance the spiritual sensation and use lanterns to utilize sunlight.
