LA based Design Studio.
Studio Collective, the boutique design agency founded in 2009 in the heart of Santa Monica, has firmly established themselves as the go to design agency for some of the most coveted destinations in Los Angeles hospitality. From the beautifully rich interiors of The Spare Room and Teddy’s at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, to the playful comfort of Brent Bolthouse’s The Bungalow at The Fairmont Hotel, and the sophisticated surroundings of L.A.’s most in demand restaurants RivaBella, Chi-Lin, and Crossroads Kitchen -- Studio Collective continually delivers luxurious designs that have become synonymous with originality and craftsmanship. Lauded for their artisan touches and layering of detail, the agency ensures each space has a unique charismatic personality all its own.
With increasing demand for their work, Studio Collective has made a name for themselves in the competitive world of design with an ever expanding client roster. Most recently, their work has grown to include Innovative Dining Group’s two newest concepts Chi Lin and RivaBella, a Studio Listening Gallery for SONOS music systems, and projects on both the East and West Coasts for Thompson Hotels. Of late is the coveted music venue in the old Largo space on Fairfax and the Jonathan Club Grill opening in Downtown Los Angeles this winter. 2014 will bring the debut of Studio Collective’s first complete hotel remodel of The Landsby Inn in Solvang, CA; Giada DeLaurentiis’ inaugural restaurant at the Cromwell Hotel in Las Vegas with Caesars Entertainment; and a new restaurant in the historic Taft Building in Hollywood.
Studio Collective’s three principals - Adam Goldstein, Leslie Kale, and Christian Schulz - are seasoned veterans of hospitality, nightlife, retail and residential design, with a joint resume that includes legends such as Frank Gehry and Phillippe Starck, contemporary icons like Dodd Mitchell and Kelly Wearstler, and spaces whose names are as celebrated as their clientele. Together, the spirit of collaboration between these three distinct design perspectives is precisely what makes Studio Collective the unique balance of creativity and composition it is today.
Studio Collective offers full-service branding and design through the careful assembly of hand-picked teams, handling everything from graphics and uniforms to the space that houses it all. The company name aims to convey this collaborative spirit; “studio” acknowledging the artistry and craftsmanship behind every design concept, while “collective” nods to the deep well of local talent available to make any concept come to life.
