About

Starting at a very young age, architecture was my biggest passion and one of my most prolific talents. Once high school arrived I made sure to enroll myself in as many drafting and architecture related classes as possible, taking drafting classes from sophomore year until I graduated as well as AP art classes (which was started specifically for me and my talents in hopes of persuading colleges to accept me), AP math classes, AP science classes, and AP geometry classes, all with the hope that I would become the first successful architect to emerge from Lake Stevens High School, which is a dream I will always be chasing. I made a deal with my drafting teacher my junior year, the first person to assure me I could be the architect I always dreamed I could be, that once I made a name for myself and became a successful architect, I would return to my high school with a gift for him; his lifelong dream car, a yellow Audi S4, which will always be my biggest motivating factor. He will get that car one day and not only will that be a satisfying factor for him, it will be a dream come true for me.

After receiving my AA for interior design at Bellevue College in Bellevue, WA, east of Seattle, I enrolled at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. I continued my pursuit towards a B.A. and after 4 more years there I received my Bachelor's Degree in Architecture. My first job in the field was back in Seattle as an architectural model maker for high end firms around the nation. Aside from being an incredibly enlightening position that taught me almost everything there is to know in architecture, it also became the best possible entry position I could have asked for thanks to the lessons in building construction, client relations, plan reading, details, etc. My first position as an actual architect was with Playhouse Design Group in Seattle. I worked there on residential and some commercial projects, all on my own, for the next 3 years. I have worked for firms in Seattle as well as San Francisco since then; almost entirely on high-end residential projects, for the last 4+ years and plan to continue doing so for the entirety of my career. I continue to make a name for myself and develop my own style of design, however, I will always be open to working with anyone on anything they desire. Architecture is my life and my passion, forever.
