Stefan received his BArch degree from Syracuse Architecture in 2013. His final project, Reconstructing Diplomacy, was awarded both the Ralph T. Walker Travel Grant and a Thesis Jury Award for Excellence. During school Stefan studied abroad in Florence, Italy as well as Hamburg, Germany. While working on the SOA Exhibition Committee he assisted with the fabrication and installation of exhibitions at the Syracuse SOA Gallery. This involves coordination with faculty members, curators, and other student employees in the designs of the following exhibitions: Thesis Awards Exhibitions, "Unzip" and "Motive Force" Faculty Shows, REX, and "Marcel Breuer and Postwar America"
Current interests include computer code and tech related urban development. Stefan is pursuing these interests through the DLR Group Grant and the AIA Emerging Professionals Travel Grant. Outside of architecture, Stefan enjoys 35mm and digital photography, hiking and trail running. For updates follow him on Twitter @stefanmkaiser
