My name is Srikirti Sreedhar, I am a certified architect (India) with a B-Arch ‘08 and a Masters in Interior Architecture ’12 from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).  

The Masters Program at RISD has not only sharpened my design skills but has also afforded me the skills needed to apply structural interventions to existing buildings while being cognizant of the continuation of cultural phenomena and the preservation of memory through built infrastructure.  I have also learnt to use sustainable building integrated systems to increase the energy efficiency of existing buildings.

Prior to my studies at RISD I worked as an architect at Total Environment, a leading architectural firm in India.  Total Environment is a fully integrated firm, I had the opportunity to design independently, work within design teams, interact with clients and most importantly have learnt the importance of planning, timing and project management.  Toward the latter part of my career at Total Environment, I was given the additional responsibility of coordinating between the Design, Structural, Services and Estimation teams.  I have also had the opportunity to work with large real-estate developers in India on project engagements ranging from design-conceptualization to construction.
