Hi, my name is Sean. I am a graduate of the first NAAB accredited program at SUNY Alfred State in the Bachelors of Architecture Program. I believe that there will always be more skills to acquire or knowledge to gain which will undoubtedly shape architecture or the way we perceive/practice it. I aspire to be an architect that could lead a firm one day. In order to meet my goals, there is still a great deal for me to learn and I am not afraid to admit this. I look forward to the opportunity to learn and actively seek ways to become a more versatile architect amongst the company of other like-minded individuals.
People know me to be a nice, easy-going, straight-forward, and hard-working person. I have worked on many projects with different people. Each time, we both felt we had gained knowledge, benefitted, and enjoyed each other’s company through the duration of the project. I look forward to the possibility of working with new people and gaining insight from the experience.
WATG, New York, NY, US, Designer/Drafter
Working in WATG’s NYC office, I have the experience of working in a medium
office setting with contact to larger offices within the WATG family. Here, I
have been working on historical renovation/restoration as well as new
build work that ranges from schematic design to exposure to construction
administration. Experience here has given me a further appreciation and
understanding for historical work, materials used, and detail-oriented work
within a larger international firm’s culture
Scheid Architectural, Buffalo, NY, US, Designer/Drafter
Working at Scheid Architectural, a small firm, I am given a great deal of
responsability and, likewise, gained versatility. With Scheid, I assist in many
tasks including compiling complete CD sets under supervision, on-site
documentation of existing conditions which has had me traveling to different
states, as well as meeting very pressing deadlines while juggling multiple
projects which has required me to communicate effectively with a team as
well as adequately prioritize projects.
Kideney Architects, Buffalo, NY, US, Architectural Designer/Drafter
