Harvest Grid

The concept design for an Agriculture Management Resource Institute in South Korea was created to serve as a reminder of the importance of land in agriculture. To maximize usage of the prominent site area, grid systems of varying scales were used to organize the site and place the buildings on it. Each grid module was designed to blend with the existing landscape, providing functional outdoor spaces and minimizing disruption to the surrounding farmland. The use of elevation differences and a low, constant roof height created a unified look that emphasized the continuity of the land. This project seeks to provide the resources necessary for the institute while protecting the storage and context around it.
