This short film is adapted from Calvino's Solidarity. This is a course project for Prof. Strickland's Cities in Film.
In the original story, the center character was switching between a group of thieves and a group of polices, which emphasis the collective unconsciousness. I adapted it into a three characters' setting, the theme of Solidarity was replaced by relationship. The encounters between the characters became more closer and subtle.
The main story line for this play is absurd tracking and chasing between the three characters. The several encounters between the three characters became the turning points that push the plots forward. The openness, scale and atmosphere of spaces played an important role in this play to render the plots.
