I go by the name Siphilele Magagula and I hail from the beautiful Kingdom of Swaziland. After four arduous, yet rewarding years I have recently graduated with honors from Ringling College of Art & Design's Interior Design programme and am currently living in New York, searching for the next big thing-a start to my career! Interior Design is my concentration, but I would like to be seen as a daughter of design, nurtured by a broad spectrum of design, as my interests go beyond interiors, venturing into architecture, fashion design, graphic design and more recently into experience design.

I decided to delve into the world of Interior Design due to its ability to change one's state of being and create an experience for an individual through its careful attention to the needs of the user and how the physical environment interacts with the individual. I would love to pursue a career in experiential design, focusing on how to create spaces that will not only wow people, but provide them with experiences that will in turn create long lasting memories.

I invite you to explore my body of work, which will tell a tale of a young woman enthralled by design concepts, capable of expressing a client’s brand identity, providing a design that meets aesthetic as well as functional needs. My design philosophy is that interior spaces should not only serve to be aesthetically pleasing, but to appeal to the senses and be a catalyst to positive behavioural change.
