Siavash Rezaei is a student in the Master of Architecture program at the University of New Mexico. His background working in different countries and with different cultures has given him an open-minded approach to problem-solving and has taught him to be both effective and efficient in his work.

His very first architecture related working experience began as a 3D Artist and junior architectural designer with Marz Design Group in July of 2015. While there, he was studying for his Bachelors degree in Architecture at Tehran Azad University in Iran. He continued his working experience in FEA studio for his last 7 months in Tehran after graduation.
In August 2016, he moved to the United States to enroll in the M.Arch degree program at the University of New Mexico School of Architecture and Planning. In his first year he received one scholarship (The Frontier/Golden Pride Scholarship) and one Fellowship (David Keller Memorial Endowed Travel Fellowship) for academic achievements. He also participated in an Externship in order to spend a week gaining professional work experience from Synthesis Design Group in Los Angles. His First-year studio work was selected to represent the school in 2017-18 as part of its marketing materials.
Alongside his academic achievements he has received architectural design related awards. He was appreciated by Iaac (Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia) for being teaching assistance in Global Summer School, a design developed workshop at TUIC (Tehran Urban Innovation Center). He has participated in many international competitions and his last project, in 2018, was finalist for San Francisco Library competition.
Rezaei is an experienced team member and enjoys the challenges and opportunities of collaborative work. His genuine love for the field of architecture comes through as what it is: the joy of being able to participate in such a meaningful profession.
