Shuying Xi received my Master of Architecture from UCLA in 2019 and currently an intern architect living in the Chicago area. While she was an undergraduate, she was focused on architecture design and building sustainable technologies. Her research using energy consumption data analysis to improve green building technologies that could be applied to Zhejiang public buildings. She is not only interested in architectural technology, but also in architectural drawing and storytelling. When she came to UCLA, she joined the Entertainment Studio led by Jimenez Lai as an M.Arch II student at UCLA and was working on storyboards, models, and short films. Her educational and professional experiences helped her developed strong software skills, communication skill and creative problem-solving strategies.

• Worked on Felipe Ángeles International Airport (215,000㎡) under the
supervision of the Senior Architect.
• Participated in concept design, schematic design, and design development
phases of the terminal building and parking garage.
• Helped with terminal building's RCP, Lighting, interior elevations, furniture
plans, and assisted in the production of drawings.
• Developed building information models using Revit.

Yiwu Foreign Languages School(Education)
• Involved from concept design to design development of the 85,481㎡ New Century Foreign Language School in Yiwu, China.
• Helped with developing the form of the podium and designing two teaching buildings and Gym by hand drawings and Rhino models.
• Made bidding documents for this design, including concept diagrams technical DD drawings and perspective renderings.
