I was born and raised in New Delhi, India. I am currently working as a Project Coordinator in a leading healthcare architecture firm in Nashville. My inclination towards sustainability encouraged me to pursue and become LEED AP BD+C, WELL AP, and Fitwel Ambassador. I completed the Master of Architecture program from Kansas State University with my thesis being healthcare focused to design a Center for Victims of Torture.

I have had a keen interest in architecture ever since I started participating in design build projects in middle school. My mother being an artist and my father an engineer helped me collaborate my creativity with a technical and practical rationale.

While being a part of a five year Bachelor of Architecture program in India, I encountered several opportunities to enhance my professional skills through internships. Having worked as an intern with three different kinds of firms i.e., builders, landscape focused and architecture focused, expanded my horizon and helped me make a choice in the direction I wanted to take professionally. I have had the honor of working with two leading AGA Khan award winning firms, and these experiences have helped in shaping me as a designer and expanded my skill set.

As someone who is enthusiastic about traveling to experience different cultures and architectural practices, I have had the privilege of visiting several countries. The exposure I gained through work experiences and interactions with different communities has strengthened my communication skills. Other than my passion for architecture, art keeps me engaged.
