I am writing in response to the  employment opportunity and would like to be considered for the Draftsperson Position. I am a graduate of Ithaca College with a BFA concentrating in Scenic and Costume Design in May 2018. I am proud to be graduating from an amazing program and ecstatic to be on my feet and learning so much from the industry. Given my hands on experience with the design and technical aspect of, I believe that I am a great addition to the company.

I was born and raised in NYC where I attended Frank Sinatra School of the Arts as a fine art and theatre production major. During that time I was an intern at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.I graduated Ithaca college studying in Scenic and Costume design. There I was the scenic designer, costume designer, carpenter, props master, paint charge, rigger and costume shop assistant.

I have extensive knowledge in drafting in Vectorworks, Photoshop, InDesign etc. I have done full drafting packages, 3D rendering including lighting the environment, hand drafting, technical carpentry and lighting plots. I was recently the designer of a version of Phantom of the Opera where I built a model and have done 3D rendering. I currently assist a costume designer in New York and around the country. I genuinely enjoy drafting in Vectorworks and working with apart of a team. I believe my knowledge of drafting, 3D rendering, scenic design, costume design, fabric and textures theatre production, organization, working with people and multitasking on several projects at a time, I am a unique candidate.

I considered myself to be a well-driven, enthusiastic person and take pride in my work and attention to detail. I am the type of person to put my work first. I am a fast learner and always willing and open to learn more to improve my craft. I love working and meeting new people.
