Sole entrepreneur architectural practice, directly or in collaboration with other consulting firms, we delivered design and management services for clients from program management and design of process driven to technically challenging projects including healthcare and commercial buildings from initial client meeting and planning through completion of contract administration.
Dental Offices – Full architectural services on dental tenant improvement projects throughout California.
UCLA Health System, LA Clinics – Management, programming, code analysis, design, progress stages and in part construction admin of three OSHPD Healthcare Clinic Tenant Improvement projects with total area of over 45000 sf in Thousand Oaks, Porter Ranch and Redondo Beach. Programs included Family Medicine, Cardiology, Cardiac Imaging, Endocrinology, Nuc/Med, Gastroenterology, MOHS, Pediatrics, Radiology / Ultrasound, Rheumatology & Oncology.
USC SCB Lab - Schematic Design and Equipment layout.
LA Coliseum 150ft.x40ft. High Def. LED Video Display - Programing, Code review and schematic design.
Residential alteration and renovation, North &Southern California – Design-built remodel contracts.
VA Healthcare, Engineering Services, Palo Alto, California – Management and coordination of ‘BIM, CAD, Revit and Data Collection & Management Services’ system. Job included establishing the digitized architectural engineering database to facilitate document acquisition for Palo Alto health system.

Devcon Construction Inc., Milpitas, CA, US, DESIGN-BUILD MANAGER/PEER REVIEWER

Managed design-build projects and conducted integrated project delivery also conducted design proposals, using ADT, Revit & NavisWorks to conduct IPD and documentation of a number of design-built projects.
San Francisco State University, 700 Font St.- Conducted design proposal for a 300K ft² Educational (150 seat classrooms) and Residential (dorms) complex, LEED silver targeted building within the campus and achieved the developer & user’s approvals.
Dostart Development Co., 690 Middlefield, Mountain View – Responsible control and production team technical conduct of two, five-story 350K ft² Commercial core & shell, including city approval.
Santa Clara University, Student Building – Led production and peer review of the document set for 5000 ft² 2-stories campus building.
322 University Ave. Palo Alto – Provided a complete LEED report for a 4K ft² Commercial project.
University of San Francisco, Cowell & Kalmanovitz Hall – Peer reviewed of 10Kft² addition.

DES Architects + Engineers, Redwood City, CA, US, Project Manager, Healthcare

Office liaison with the client, leading design and production team for all stages of work from concept inception through contract administration of four OSHPD projects, and an educational building project.
Chinese Hospital Projects, San Francisco –Tenant improvement in down town San Francisco for administrative department, CT Scan Replacement, Emergency Generator Replacement. Sequoia Hospital projects, Redwood City –Designed a new Out Patient Oncology and new Sleep Disorder Departments, two Cath Lab renovations.
The Harker School, Science and Technology Building, San Jose – Exercised responsible control over the content of record drawings of a 40K ft² educational building in two floors. This project achieved LEED Platinum. The building contains 156 seat Lecture room and over 22 labs. Studied and developed proper solutions for shell of the building including, curtain walls, green roof, transparent vault and glass roof considering tight schedule.

New 100 bed, Rand Memorial Hospital, Freeport, Bahamas (HDP Architects) – Conducted master planning, functional planning, site design and required coordination of project, included IPD, ER, OR, ICU, HIS, AMB, IMG, OPD, IM, Pharm. Labs &Psych. Departments.
Scarborough Town Centre Court, Scarborough, Ontario ( G+C Architects) – Responsible control over the preparation and leading production team of permit package, and sub-contractors tender packages, for one of The Goldman Group/Monarch projects. This project contained three towers (35, 28, 38 stories) in a high-density area.
St. Thomas of Vilanova College, King City, Ontario (G+C Architects) – Designed an extensive expansion (Over 9500 m²) to the existing educational facility including new 1000 spectator gym and related facilities, Auditorium/Cafeteria for 500, Art, Rehearsal and Music Classes, Chapel for 100, new Kitchen and a complete Administration department.
St. George Arab Cultural Centre, City of Richmond Hill, Ontario (Michael Wong Architect) - Conducted Contract Administration for 2200 m² two stories building.
Doha City Centre Expansion, Doha, Qatar (HOK Canada) – Performed responsible control over the content of over two and half billion dollars new hotels in the Middle East. Lead production team and incorporated everyday updates on more than one million m² high-end luxury buildings with 6 international consultants.
William Osler Health Centre, Brampton, Ontario (Parkin Architects) – Exceptional experience gained through leading the production team and coordination of a $450 million new hospital project is the first Public Private Partnership & design-built healthcare project in Canada. It contained over 390,000 ft² four-stories Diagnostic and Treatment Building. Responsible for the Diagnostic Treatment building, the busiest and most complicated leg of the hospital, which accommodates 25 departments. Two architectural and fourteen programming and engineering consultants & contractors conducted on this project.
Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre, Nassau (HDP Architects)- Prepared schematic design and FF& E detailed room/equipment layouts for a 280,000 ft² of new and renovated spaces, project included an expanded Geriatric Hospital, new and expanded Acute, Intermediate and Long-term adult Psychiatric Units (Revised the site master-plan and prepared schematic facility plans) and a new building for the new Detox programs and Children’s Unit.
Rand Memorial Hospital, Freeport (HDP Architects) – Schematic design for a18,000 ft² building is a new Emergency Department and Ambulatory Clinics. Prepared information package for local architects, which consisted of schematic plans, FF&E room/equipment layouts, schedules and outline specs.
Clinics, Bahamas Family Islands (HDP Architects) – Prepared schematic design package for a 14,000 ft² Primary-Care Clinics in 3 locations. Project included FF& E detailed room/equipment layouts.

Microsoft Canada Headquarters, Mississauga - (17,000 m², approx. $25 million). A Fast Track 4-storey, hi-tech. office building, completed three months ahead of a tight schedule. (Assisted in all aspects of detail design, and was responsible for the working drawings and reviewed the shop drawings)
Waterside Inn, Port Credit – An expansion and alteration of the existing hospitality complex. (Responsible for the design development, code review, working drawings and consultant co-ordination)
