I am acutely interested in the intersection of urban design’s space syntax, with the poetics of space, culture, and landscape, honed whilst pursuing my Master of Architecture degree at Georgia Institute of Technology, under the direct tutelage of the field expert, Dr. John Peponis.
My in-field experience spans 10 years at the Jamaican firm, Virtuoso Architect Ltd progressing to the role of Creative Director. During my tenure, I acquired design and management expertise and successfully executed projects ranging from large-scale residential and commercial developments to single-family homes, involving regular engagements with domestic and international partners. This experience, coupled with successfully completing GTech’s M.Arch. program demonstrates my capability and adaptability in assimilating complex information to produce meaningful output.

o Managed conceptualization, and construction administration of the 74,900 SF. apartment complex, working closely with the structural engineer, MEP engineer and contractor.
• Second lead | 20 South - 81-Unit Apartment Midrise | Jamaica.
o Managed the 75,000 SF. apartment midrise project, including multiple project revisions, stakeholder interests, construction documentation, and construction close out.
• Responsible for conceptualization, construction documentation and client meetings, for the Texaco service stations rehabilitation project including:
o Project lead | Montego Bay Texaco Service station | Jamaica
o Project lead | Constant Spring Texaco Service station | Jamaica
o Second lead | Papine Texaco Service Station | Jamaica
• Assisted the Principal and Associate Partner with, marketing materials, presentations, and project feasibility studies.
• On-Site project supervision, working with contractors, engineers and subcontractors throughout the construction Lifecyle, responding to RFI’s, making field observations, and reviewing contractor shop drawings to ensure that design works are carried-out to specific standard
• Contributed to resolving technical challenges on projects, providing guidance to stakeholders and team members.

• Prepared 3D models in Architecture for commercial and residential developments
