My name is Sekou Hayes. I graduated from the University of Kansas with an M.Arch degree and currently living in New York. I am on currently acquiring my architectural license from the New York State Board for Architecture having completed 70% of my AXP hours. 


PKSB Architects, New York, Junior Architect

- Contributed to all phases of the project within a divers array of building types and scales.
- Managed the interiors of a large scale school addition that included creating custom BIM families, scheduling furniture & electrical devices, and detailing certain material applications.
- Collaborated with a partnering firm to survey existing conditions of 3 storefronts planned for restoration.
- Conducted a myriad of site surveys and presentations to city landmarks regarding historic building additions, renovations, and restorations.

- Collaborated, prepared, and presented 3d models, material studies, and energy models for an elementary school project.
- Collected date and created infographics from a series of school board meetings regarding a master plan for the Lee's Summit School District.

- Worked on a myriad of projects though the schematic design and construction documentation including renderings, detailing, and producing presentation packets.
- Created BIM models for the firm's current and previous projects to aid in the firm's interest in introducing BIM software to the firm.
